Educational & Research Grants
2025-2026
As a new non-profit, our foundation is pleased to offer financial and mentorship grants in two categories. Our focus is on supporting the development of young people building their medical, healthcare, and wellness careers.
PCF Educational Grants
Include sponsorship of medical students, interns, and residents, funding travel to orthopedic conferences and support in preparation of papers, posters, and related communications.
PCF Research Grants
Fund and provide expert mentorship to medical students, interns, and residents pursuing innovative approaches to caring for children diagnosed with cancer, with a focus on orthopedic oncology, but not limited to orthopedics.
Our Annual Grant Cycle
Runs from September through November, with all applications due on or before December 1. Our esteemed grant committee reviews each submission and awards all grants the first week of February.

Reporting Requirements
Monthly reports are required as the committee members wish to be helpful by bringing questions and resources to the grantees. A final report is due in mid-August, and a virtual meeting of the committee and all grant winners will be held in mid-September, prior to the opening of the 2026 – 2027 Grant Cycle.
